An established medium-sized footwear retailer is looking for a Head of Central Warehouse. Based out of Karachi, the incumbent of this position is expected to maintain functional logistical relationships with all of our vendors and ensure the smooth receiving, storage and distribution of inventory to/from the warehouse to all our retail stores across Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Hyderabad. The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications/characteristics:

• Minimum 5 years work experience within the central warehousing function of a noteworthy retailer with strong preference for previous leadership experience in a central warehouse of an apparel or footwear retailer
• Strong preference for proficiency in operating the ERP Candela by Lumensoft from a Product Creation and Inventory Movement and Storage perspective
• Must be well-versed with the nuances of creating new products and product categories in Candela
• Strong appreciation of the need to cooperate, liaise and work with our Internal Audit function to accurately maintain stock count across central warehouse and retail shops
• Take ownership and maintain visibility of stock in-transit to our retail locations
• Must be someone who takes initiative and is willing to learn from Lumensoft if there is any confusion
• Must keep updated inventory records at all times including ensuring all dispatches/receipts are fully updated by all retail shop managers
• Strong references suggestive of uncompromising integrity are a must-have to be selected for this position
• A track-record that demonstrates prevention of inventory-ageing and successful investigation of stock pilferage will be an added benefit
