We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the movement of freight, managing driver schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries to meet client expectations.

Work Timings: 7:00PM to 4:00AM PKT (US Business Hours)Location: Gulberg Greens, Islamabad

Responsibilities

•  Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and equipment for transportation of freight.
• Monitor and track the location of trucks and provide updates to clients and internal teams.
•  Maintain communication with drivers throughout their routes to ensure on-time delivery.
•  Handle emergency and unexpected situations effectively, such as weather delays, traffic issues, or truck breakdowns.
• Prepare and maintain accurate logs, records, and reports related to transportation.
•  Coordinate with clients, shippers, and receivers for pickup and delivery details.
•  Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations (DOT, FMCSA, etc.).
•  Assist in resolving driver concerns and customer complaints professionally.
•  Use dispatch software and GPS tools for real-time tracking and route optimization.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in truck dispatching or logistics coordination, preferably in the U.S. freight market.
• Strong understanding of U.S. geography, time zones, and major freight lanes.
• Familiarity with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) and dispatching software like McLeod, TMS, or similar platforms.
• Ability to negotiate rates with brokers and clients professionally and confidently.
• Knowledge of freight types (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Power Only, etc.) and their specific requirements.
• Basic understanding of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and safety compliance.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); additional languages like Spanish or Punjabi are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle high-pressure situations (e.g., late deliveries, truck breakdowns).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word), Google Sheets, and email communication.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, or U.S. business hours, depending on the role.

Desirable Criteria

•  Prior experience in U.S. truck dispatching (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Power Only, etc.).
• Familiarity with load boards such as DAT, Truckstop.com, or similar platforms.
• Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
