Job Description:
  • As team leader, manage and supervise the medical, vocational, administrative and logistics activities in close coordination with the Medical Team Supervisor and MHPSS officer.
  • Conduct consultations related to reproductive health according to WHO/Organization standards guidelines and protocols with provision of relevant medicines.
  • Ensuring Pharmacy management SOP’s in all WGSS and provision of pharma services by herself.
  • Ensuring timely planning and order of monthly medicines and consumables to Pharmacy advisor and Medical team supervisor.
  • Ensure timely management of cases and proper referral of advanced cases for further management.
  • Ensure follow up of the referral cases to register the outcome of the referral.
  • Ensure MNCH guidelines are followed in care and treatment.
  • Ensure all team members follow organizational established protocols and guidelines.
  • To ensure quality control of medical activities; take corrections when needed, and propose preventive actions, if necessary.
  • Provide suggestions to improve the functioning of WGSS from a medical point.
  • Prepare and update on a regular basis the medical orders including reporting formats, registers, and stationery for clinic in collaboration with the Medical team supervisor.
  • Responsible for maintaining WGSS hygiene and infection control measures.
  • Ensure disinfection and sterilization procedure (by autoclaving) is performed according to the need and perform quality assurance.
  • Assist and contribute in organizing and delivering health education session and awareness sessions at the WGSS on relevant topics including MNCH, FP.
  • In collaboration with the Medical Team Supervisor and MHPSS Officer, perform the weekly planning of the activities.
  • Verify the authenticity of medical data and compile the weekly/monthly reports.
  • Participate in coaching the team members on improving the quality of services and assist in identifying the training needs of the team.
  • Organize regular meetings/briefings with all the staff and sharing minutes of the meeting with Medical team supervisor.
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
