Job Description:
  • Accountable to his/her Head of Clinical unit and, through him, to the management of the hospital
  • Works under the supervision of the head of the unit
  • Performs and provides reports of Ultrasound.
  • Reviews and provides reports of X-rays (when required) and mammograms done
  • Ensures delivery of all reports/findings to the concerned units within the stipulated time
  • Review patient histories, medical records, and referrals to understand the clinical context and determine the appropriate imaging study
  • Ensures compliance of sops particularly on Infection Control, Waste Management, and protection from radiation in the Department. Understands and observes health and safety precautions/instructions for self and others' protection
  •  Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and oneself, ensuring all safety guidelines are upheld
  • Checks the cleanliness and upkeep of the unit
  •  Ensures that responsible staff regularly upkeeps & maintains electro-medical equipment of the unit to ensure their functionality at all time
  • Performs any other professional duty assigned by the in charge.

  • Ensures compliance of SOP’s particularly on Infection Control, Waste Management, and protection from radiation in the Department. Understands and observes health and safety precautions/instructions for self and others' protection
  • Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and oneself, ensuring all safety guidelines are upheld
  • Checks the cleanliness and upkeep of the unit
  • Ensures that responsible staff regularly upkeeps & maintains electro-medical equipment of the unit to ensure their functionality at all time
