 Position Overview

SharePoint Consultant /Architect functions as an engineer tiered services consultant building and configuring SharePoint Sites with web UI, SharePoint designer and developing code for SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online sites and page. Also including deploy and migrate solutions to Microsoft office 365 Azure and AWS.

Job functions include working with US-based staff, collogues and customers which requires excellent communication and writing skills to be able to communicate clearly over phone and email or Instant message. Email etiquettes and technical writing skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

The  Microsft SharePoint Architect  is primarily responsible for:

• Maintains efficiency by defining, delivering, supporting and deploying SharePoint over various Cloud platforms including, Office 365, Azure and AWS


• Perform, project tasks in a timely and efficient manner


• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.


• Presentation skills around technical documentation including but not limited to SOW drafting and/or Visio drawings representing designed solution(s). Including Mockups for any designed solutions.


• Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems. Must be able to consistently to identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.


• Must be able to organize/prioritize project tasks based on customer and PM requirements.


• SHAREPOINT DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATION.

Requirements:

Education:

• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience 

Experience:

• Bachelors’ /Masters’ degree in a technical discipline 


• 4 - 5 years or more of relevant work experience


• Must have fluent English-speaking skills with a neutral accent


• Must have hands-on expertise in  SHAREPOINT DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATION.


• Hands-on experience with planning, designing and deploying SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online.


• Experience in SharePoint custom development including Master Pages and Page layouts, Web parts, Site Pages, SharePoint Security/Permissions/Roles/Groups, Site Columns, content types, Lists and Libraries, Workflows, SharePoint Branding.


• Hands-on Skills with developing SharePoint solutions using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer


• Excellent skills on CSOM, SharePoint Framework SPFx,


• Working knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript frameworks/.Net frameworks


• Must have C#,Net Object Oriented programming skills


• Experience with CAML for web part customization/ development


• Microsoft Server technologies including Windows server 2012 R2 and above


• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 and above

Certifications/Licenses/Etc.

• Certification related to SharePoint and Office 365, Azure and AWS is preferable.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience of working for any US/Canada based IT Company or international clients is preferable.
