Are you a motivated Senior Accountant with the desire to progress your accountancy career with a UK based firm of Accountants?

We are currently looking for a well-rounded Senior Accountant/Manager to join our team and support the partners within the firm. This is a great opportunity to build on your existing experience and gain more experience within management. Reporting into the partners you will be tasked with the following duties

Please only apply if you are an ACCA or CA qualified and have worked in a back-office of a UK based firm. Candidates who do not meet this criteria wont be considered for this role.

Duties:

You will take on a full supervisory role for a designated client portfolio and have exposure to a mixture of management and/or UK statutory accounts preparation.

Preparation of UK VAT returns

Management Accounts

Drafting UK tax computations

Processing payroll for the clients (monthly/weekly)

Audit Supervising a junior member of staff and delegating work General bookkeeping for clients

Discussing and resolving accounts queries with clients (Spoken English will need to be a good standard)

Credit control (Billing/Collection of monthly targets)

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a firm of UK Accountants ACCA Qualified Supervisory experience Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written

Excellent organisational skills
