Job Description:

International Medical Corps invites applications from candidates fulfilling the mentioned Job specifications.


Roles and Responsibilities:



  • Community Mobilizers will provide awareness-raising sessions in their community/refugee villages covering topics such as COVID-19, vaccination, health and hygiene promotion, disasters, types of disasters, mitigation, mental health, etc.

  • Conduct individual and group awareness sessions for men, women, adolescent boys, and girls at health facilities and through outreach activities.

  • The CMs will be connected to the nearest health facility for information and referrals.

  • Should COVID-19 vaccinations be available at this time, the community volunteers/mobilizers will be able to provide information on availability and access.

  • Assist in the identification of active community volunteers for the training to increase the villages’ capacity to provide first aid and properly handle and transport the injured

  • Identify and report success stories, best practices, and lessons learned.

  • Provide assistant to field team in conducting awareness sessions, meetings, events, training, and assessment activities at field.

  • Conduct awareness sessions and other awareness activities in the project targeted community.

  • Help the communities to develop a sense of ownership of the activities in and around their RVs and encourage self-reliance whenever possible.

  • Regularly coordinate with communities and act as a link between the community and organization in smooth implementation of projects.

  • Liaise and work with community groups and projects to ensure accountability and best use of project resources.

  • Facilitate the community to pass their complaints to the management through CBFRM in a transparent manner.

  • Act in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner towards the community.

Required Experience & Qualifications 



  • University degree in any social sciences disciple.

  • Previous relevant experience, preferably in humanitarian settings.

  • Basic understanding of and communication capacity in English, should know the national & regional languages (Urdu & Pashto).

  • Demonstrated creativity, ability to apply innovative thinking and problem solving skills.
